Jase & Jimmy - Take It Easy Tours
Jimmy Elliot (left) and Jason Granville – Directors of Take It Easy Tours in Wanganui.

Take It Easy Tours in Wanganui has been a very successful operation for more than 25 years, established back in the day by Don and Maree Adams who after many fantastic tours decided to retire and put their feet up.

Jase and Jimmy have been close mates since their days at school and always planned to go into business together. The boys knew this was an opportunity they simply couldn’t pass up and, after a few open and honest conversations, Don and Maree were satisfied that Jase and Jimmy would be the ideal successors for Take It Easy Tours. The rest as they say, is history!

Here’s to many more years exploring New Zealand, traveling abroad and creating lifelong memories. Get in touch today and come on an adventure!

Jimmy Elliott

Jimmy has extensive knowledge in tourism, working in the industry both here in NZ and internationally. He has travelled the world and taken tours to the likes of Munich Beerfest, Running of the Bulls in Pamplona and St Paddy’s day in Ireland just to name a few. Since returning home five years ago he became the Operations Manager for an adventure tourism company taking international travelers on a 27 day tour of our beautiful country. He has a wealth of experience and uses this to ensure all trips with Take It Easy Tours are well organised, informative, diverse and a whole heap of fun.

Jason Granville

After years in the broadcasting industry Jase hung up his headphones to run Take It Easy Tours. This has meant he can still pick up the microphone to inform travelers and encourage friendly banter while on tour. Jase is a former Wanganui District councillor and is very passionate about his hometown of Wanganui. He says, “if you haven’t come to visit yet then best you let us show you around this stunning region”. With mountains on our back door, a stunning coastline and the historic Whanganui river there sure is plenty to see and do.

Go on – come visit us! You won’t be disappointed.
